Protection and inspection of disposable surgical kits
During the operation, the surgeon should place the disposable surgical bag in the prescribed position so that it can be used at any time and prevent collisions with each other. Use sharp instruments especially. For example, large and tough tissue or gauze rolls, cotton rolls, etc. should not be cut with ophthalmic scissors.
Long-term storage of disposable surgical kits should be coated with a layer of Fantulin. For frequently used instruments, wipe them with liquid paraffin after cleaning the blood stains to prevent rust. Sharp instruments and blunt instruments should be kept separately. Sharp instruments cannot be sterilized by high pressure and boiling. Only in the case of + minutes of urgency, they can be sterilized for a short time (3 minutes) to avoid damaging the sharp edges.
Before sterilizing disposable surgical kits, operating room personnel should carefully check whether the surgical instruments are adequate and appropriate. For example, can the tip of the scissors be closed tightly, and the two strands of the scissors can be opened and sterilized in a sterilization tray. Use a large mirror or a test drum to check whether the blade is sharp, and wrap the tip with cotton and disinfect it. For all kinds of ring drills, pay special attention to clean the oil in the drill barrel, and then disinfect it. Record the number of times each ring drill is used for easy selection during surgery. You should also check how elastic the two strands of the iris tweezers are.
Disinfection of disposable surgical kits are mostly immersed and disinfected with 1/1000 of new Jieer disinfectant containing 0.5% sodium nitrite. Soaking for 30 minutes can achieve the purpose of disinfection. Sodium nitrite is added to prevent rust. Disinfection trays for frequently immersed instruments should be autoclaved every 2 to 4 weeks and replaced with a new disinfectant.
